North York is a vast area with a great mix of people. This area houses some of the best malls in Toronto: Yorkdale Shopping centre, Sheppard Plaza and the Don Mills centre. There are also cultural institutions like Black Creek Pioneer Village (an authentic 19th-century heritage village), Toronto Centre for the Arts, the Aga Khan Museum, and the Ontario Science Centre. North York is just not an urban jungle, it is immersed in natural beauty, there are green spaces, dells, tree-lined valleys, creeks, and cool running streams throughout the area.
